Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs and Carine Roitfeld’s styling resulted in the creation of the stunning Chanel Spring-Summer 2012 campaign at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. The cruise collection was inspired by mythical female figures in acrobatic positions on top of the ocean water. The black and white essence of the shooting and the elegant simplicity of the garments are depicted in the irresistible pictures of models Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw. The older apparatus gives the campaign such a wonderous European-gymnastics nostalgia! We love the white killer high heels with the socks underneath! This is the new wave retro look. Don’t we all want to travel back the time and become a 50′s innocent schoolgirl ?
