The last collection of Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton S/S 2012 was definitely one to remember. Soft, dreamy, elegant, fragile but strong too. Models entered the runway through a carousel with white horses and turn the place into a dreamland. Marc Jacobs gave a sophisticated and fairytale touch to his collection, as he left the body hugging silhouettes aside, opting for lace puffy skirts with appliqué daisy details and sugar-almond-colored organza layers. From prom-queen tiaras to silver handbands and stiletto heels, models were brimming with sugar and spice and all things nice – capturing the mood of ironically exaggerated femininity that has swept the runways. The highlight of the show was Jacobs’ close friend, Kate Moss, rocking the runway as an innocent ballerina, in a white baby doll dress with feathers and white heels. So, open up your closet ladies. . . for some dreamy pastels!
