Miuccia Prada, the creative director of Prada, set herself apart from all the rest conceptually this year in the runway world. Instead of male models, Ms. Prada casted Hollywood actors to participate in the catwalk show during Milan Fashion Week. The menswear collection was composed by great sartorial fabrics, color, sharp cuts and old-fashioned aristocratic accessories. The setting was a huge court, laid with a massive 20- by 35-meter carpet in red, white, and black. Adrian Brody, Gary Oldman, Willem Dafoe, Emile Hirsch, Garrett Hedlund and Timothy Roth proved to be stunning in Prada and the audience was set for a big surprise. . . not to mention quite a show! In her own words, Ms. Prada opted for “a parody of male power”. What is your favorite bourgeoise look?
