We would like to introduce you the new talented menswear designer Tim Coppens and his contemporary athleticism aesthetics that have shaken New York’s fashion week. The Antwerp Royal Academy of Arts graduate managed to showcase an immaculate collection balancing fashion and function, remaining loyal to his sportswear roots. ”The Tim Coppens man is definitely interested in fashion, but not dressed in fashion labels from head to toe,” the Belgian designer tells Interview magazine. “A sophisticated guy, with an attitude.” Made of cutting-edge fabrication, this technically savvy and chic menswear line will be the next best thing in the fashion circles. His future is bright given that his modern vision of masculinity was immediately spotted and bought exclusively from Barneys New York and the fall winter collection will be shown in the windows of Isetan in Tokyo and Dover Street Market in London. In 2012 he receives the Ecco Domani award as best new menswear designer of the year.
