Born and raised in New York City, Andrea Lieberman has become one of the fashion world’s most preeminent stylists and now, designers. After graduating from Parsons School of Design with a degree in Fashion, Andrea went on to work with Giorgio Di Sant’Angelo and Romeo Gigli. After several years of world travel, including a two-year stay in Africa, Andrea returned to New York to open her retail store Culture and Reality. The store became a cult sensation and segued her into the world of styling.
Since then, she has worked widely in the fashion industry, not only styling for videos, photo shoots and award shows, but also utilizing her talents to design for tours and concerts. Among Andrea’s high-profile clients are Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Sean Combs, Celine Dion, and Faith Hill. In addition she has styled award shows and personal appearances for a number of celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Ellen Pompeo, and Lucy Liu.
Her flawless eye for fashion led Lieberman to launch her namesake label, A.L.C more than three years ago. The collection is comprised of daring silhouettes, chic modular separates and perfectly engineered basics. The pieces bring a new perspective to the needs of a modern wardrobe while improving upon the canon of essentials. She has created a series of sophisticated must-haves in her own unique vocabulary, guided by the principle that the way forward is to own clothes you love enough to wear again and again.
