In Style Bubble’s closet

Blogger and freelance writer Suzie Lau from the “Style Bubble” opens her amazing closet and show us her favorite pieces! Suzie is a real trendsetter who doesn’t afraid to take risks and loves bold designers such as Christopher Kane, Rodarte, Nickolas Kirkwood and Mary Katrantzou. Statement shoes, oversized hats and extreme plexiglass sunglasses complete her fashion forward style. Are you ready to take a sneak peek in the most interesting and colorful wardrobe?

Shoes! The stranger the better!

Suzie Lau loves statement shoes..

Suzie also loves eccentric sunglasses. She tends to go for colour, unusual shapes or anything that’s hyper cute or kitschy.

Gorgeous Linda Farrow sunnies for Prabal Gurung. The hat is from Calla, a designer who Suzie loves from the very beginning of her solo career because of  her delicate prints.

This satin orange jacket is Suzie’s first item from Dries Van Noten. The shoes and trousers are from Yoox, which is her top hunting ground for most of her designer duds. Suzie  hardly pays full price for anything because she is a innate bargain hunter!

Suzie loves flatforms and she is happy that Moonspoon Sallon revived the trend. As she says ” they give height without the pain—what’s not to like? ” She has about six pairs of brothel creepers, both vintage and new. These  bronze ones are the latest addition!

The top is from Matthew Harding’s graduate collection and Topshop was brave enough to produce it for retail. Suzie would love to wear this all the time but obviously there are physical constraints to wearing this top! The shoes are from her most favorite collaboration, Nicholas Kirkwood x Rodarte!

This dress is one of Mary Katrantzou’s earlier pieces and it’s something that she has probably over-worn, just because she loves it so much.Pretty!

The satin heels are by Christopher Kane and they were meant for his S/S ’12 show, but in the end, he decided to use the pool sandals that you see on the right. Suzie couldn’t resist the pretty satin when she saw them at the sample sale (which is legendary in London).

The boots are by a young fashion graduate Xiao Li, who competed in China’s version of Project Runway with a collection inspired by tin toys and these beaded Timberlands were part of that. The jacket is Suno, one of her favourite labels from New York.
