Anna Wintour at the Met Ball Gala

The Costume Institute Gala, known as the Met Ball is the annual ball that celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute.  Robert Isabell designed the event for over a decade prior to his death in 2009 and Anna Wintour took the initiative continue and oversee the fundraising event, turning it into the fashion industry’s “Night of Nights” and raising millions every year! Anna Wintour herself is a style icon and here we have gathered her best appearances from the Met Balls over the years. Chanel is the rule with a few exemptions. What’s your favorite?
