The long anticipated British Fashion Awards held yesterday night at the London Coliseum! London’s style set arrived to celebrate the night. Discover the Winners and the best red carpet looks!
Kate Moss in an Alexander McQueen leather dress, a Marc Jacobs coat and Christian Louboutin heels. The model was presented with the Special Recognition Award by her friend Marc Jacobs who described her as being: “One of my most special and cherished friends. She is bold, sharp, talented and fearless. She has always defied convention.” A shy Moss accepted the award by saying the accolade was “surreal”.
Gwyneth Paltrow presented Miuccia Prada with the inaugural International Designer of the Year Award. “Thank you. I’m really happy because I’m up against some really great designers,” said Prada as she accepted her award.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Antonio Berardi.
Alexa Chung wore a Stella McCartney dress and carried a Roger Vivier clutch to pass on her British Style Award baton to Harry Styles – who jokingly admitted he thought Alexa was the only one that was allowed to win. The model and presenter has already scooped the award three times.
Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller both wore Burberry, which she accessorised with jewellery by Dominic Jones. Miller presented her friend Christopher Bailey with the Designer Brand of the Year award for his work at Burberry.
Rita Ora in Vivienne Westwood. The singer presented Nicholas Kirkwood with his Accessory Designer of the Year award.
Edie Campbell and Otis Ferry. Campbell scooped the Model of the Year award, thanking her pony Dolly. “I’m very lucky the past year has been really fun,” she said.

Suzy Menkes, recipient of 2013’s Special Recognition Award. “I still enjoy it, that’s why I’m still here,” she said as she accepted her award. Wearing Christopher Kane to collect the award, Menkes was just as pleased about seeing him named Designer of the Year. “He should be winning all the awards around,” she said.
Nicholas Kirkwood. The designer won the Accessory Designer of the Year award. “Wow! Thank you very much. It means a huge amount to me. It’s been a great year for me and I’d like to thank my team, who have put up with a lot, and my family. There are so many people to thank, I can’t even think,” said the designer.
Clémence Poésy with Erdem Moralioglu and Laura Carmichael. Erdem won the Red Carpet Award.
Simone Rocha. The designer won the Emerging Womenswear Designer award.

Christopher Kane. The designer won the Womenswear Designer of the Year award, presented to him by Donatella Versace, whom he gave a special thanks to alongside Sarah Mower and Louise Wilson. He dedicated the award to his sister “my best friend, my life” Tammy, who he told us couldn’t be there because his niece, Bonnie, had the flu.
Christopher Bailey. The designer scooped two awards on the night for Burberry – Menswear Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the Year.
