Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson, Kim Gordon and Ariel Pink style themselves in Saint Laurent’s rock and roll inspired campaign, shot by Hedi Slimane.

Love is grunge chic in a cutout dress, a pinstripe suit and a ruffle shirt, from the brand’s pre-autumn/winter 2013-14 collection, while Kim Gordon rocks a mini skirt and a tuxedo jacket, all items selected by her personal wardrobe. Μarilyn Manson and Ariel Pink are seen in Saint Laurent’s iconic 101 leather biker jacket, a style previously worn by guitarist Keith Richards.

Ιt’s not the first time that the French fashion house teams up with rock icons. The fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent dressed both Mick and Bianca Jagger for their wedding in St. Tropez in May 1971. How cool that was? But Hedi Slimane himself is not new to the rock music world too, as he has designed stagewear for many rockstars including David Bowie, Mick Jagger and The Libertines!

Shot by artist and director Sam Taylor-Johnson, the pictures are the first preview of precisely what the hugely-anticipated designer-high street collaboration has in store. The images showcase a taster of both the men’s and womenswear and we love the straight minimal silhouettes, classic of the French house!

The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection will land in stores and online on November 15 and we anticipate…!! Which one do you prefer!
