So in love with H&M’s Spring 2013 lookbook! If we had to put a title on, it would be ‘easy boho’. Starring model Nadja Bender, the collection is full of must-haves! The foulard prints, boxy shoulders, sheer fabrics and boho details inspired by Isabel Marant, all create an inspiring and stylish mix. We can’t wait to add in our wardrobe the stuctured aztec-printed jacket, the quilted bomber and the white embroidered pants…What about you?

We are in love with the Eiffel Tower flats and the neon Paris platforms..Oh la la!

Valentino : Master of Couture exhibition

Another never-before-seen photograph of the designer from his personal archive, taken at Diana Vreeland’s red sitting room!

A new Valentino exhibition is about to take place at Somerset House this month. This retrospective is divided into three places: firstly, we will be guided into Valentino’s personal world through his archive about his life, vacations, houses, inspirations. Then, the catwalk, this second and largest part is full filled with 130 of the most famous haute couture designs, among them the vintage gown that Julia Roberts wore at the 2001 Oscar’s and Jackie Kennedy’s wedding dress! The last section is dedicated to the Atelier Valentino and the design process of couture designs like Marie Chantal’s wedding dress, which was handmaded and the daily work at the Atelie combined with some samples of his couture. Ready to explore high fashion from the inside?

Biennale des Antiquaires, the London Version

It’s that time of the year that Biennale des Antiquaries is about to bring out the London version at Harrods for the very first time after the success they had at Grand Palais in Paris. The great Karl Lagerfeld curated a great exchibition for the 26th anniversary of the Biennale there. The Fine Jewellery Room is alredy “decorated” with the elite of the jewellery art, created by the most luxurious brands worldwide such as Cartier, Bulgari, Chanel, Van Cleef and Arpels, Boucheron and Dior. The visitors have the chance not only to see, but to shop-in pieces from the latest collection of these amazing sparkles! The exchibition lasts until the 14th of October, so if you are around London it’s the perfect time to razzle – dazzle yourselves up!

Old Fashion Thing

The musée Galliera is the City of Paris Museum of Fashion. Opened in 1977, it is housed in a Renaissance-style palace built at the end of the 19th century for the Duchesse de Galliera. The museum collects and displays creations that have marked the development of historical and contemporary fashion. Each year it presents two exhibitions, on a specific theme or a single couturier, revealing part of its huge collection of clothing and accessories from the 18th century to the present day. The treasures it keeps in its closed doors vary from authentic Cristobal Balenciaga ball gowns to Schiaparelli pieces, counting up to 23,000 unique pieces all wrapped individually in muslin. Enjoy some of the small pieces of fashion history and wherever you find yourselves in Paris, just visit the Galliera!

Our minds may be fixated on summer, but when we got a glimpse of J.Crew‘s fall lookbook we got a little bit love struck, a little bit weak on the legs and altogether suddenly excited about the prospect of fall! J.Crew has outdone itself this year with these killer combinations… and although the whole lookbook is a must-see, our eyes are in love with its fall skinny pants. There’s no need to justify about the guest star appearance of the skirt look there… it’s pencil and snakeskin all in one! Get it? We also starting drafting our fall’s wishlist and one of our favorite items is certainly The Bryn Bag. We’re betting its going to be the new It-bag for fall.
